PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL: (Mentha piperita) steam distilled from India

INGREDIENT LIST: Coconut Oil, Tallow, Olive Oil, Water, Rose Clay, Moroccan Clay, Peppermint Essential Oil.

WHY COLD PROCESSED: Most of today's soaps have natural glycerin removed, only to be placed in lotions and marketed for people as a necessity after skin is stripped of its natural oils. Cold processed soaps are all glycerin soaps (the saponification process produces glycerin) and provide other natural oils for the skin. You cleanse, while nurturing.

HOW IT'S MADE: Cold Processed soaps are made in a traditional method that produces and natural and gentle soap. Oils are combines with a lye water mixture so that the oil and lye molecules can combine to make something new: soap! I make all of my soaps with at least a 5% superfat content. This means that 5% or more of the luxurious oils that I add are left in the soap to nourish your skin and 0% of lye. The end result is a creamy lather, beautiful bubbles, and a pure soap that will nourish your skin whether you have oily skin, dry skin, blemishes, or other concerns

Wow! Yikes!

Boy, does this stuff work! I have tried many other things, including hydroquinone, kojic acid, azelaic acid, turmeric, etc. This stuff worked pretty fast and I have had great, very noticeable results in only a couple of weeks. Tip: make sure to exfoliate at least once a week to get the dead skin layer off so the product can penetrate the dark spot. Like you, I have a pre-C spot, and it has almost removed it already.

Good quality & ingredients, but not the best fit for my scalp skin type.

The Simple Life Mom team was super responsive and helpful when I was having issues placing my first order.
I really appreciated that it came with minimal packaging whilst still ensuring products were well cared for during shipping.

Shipping was fast.

The shampoo itself is very moisturizing, I can tell the ingredients are good quality. Though I think maybe a little too moisturizing for my combination hair as I have to wash my hair every 1-2 days with this shampoo . I had tried nettle shampoo from another brand before (liquid shampoo, with more nettle and my hair loved it and didn’t require washing for 2-4 days because of the nettle).

I’d be excited to try a shampoo with higher nettle concentration from The Simple Life Mom. The products are good, just have to find the best fit for my oily but dry skin type :)

Would definitely recommend it to those curious and on the fence!
